BLOWN GLASS

Glass is all around us, but never have you handled glass like this before. Experience molten glass at 2100° as you design and pull your creation. Come and enjoy this unique experience.

Appointments are made by the number of objects being made, not by number of people participating. Only 1 person per object; if 2 people sign up for 1 flower, 1 person will make the flower and the other person will cheer them on. A group does not need to sign up individually, but can schedule one appointment for multiple projects. But only one person can make a project at a time. Age requirements apply to people participating in the experiences. Family and friends are welcome to come watch, take pictures and/or video, and even help pick out colors. 

Plan to come 5 minutes early for your appointment to sign waivers and pick out colors. Arriving more than 5 minutes late to an appointment will cause your appointment to be canceled.
48 hours advance notice is required for cancellation/rescheduling. No shows will be charged full price for the missed appointment.

Everything made in the hot shop takes 24 hours to cool, so you will need to come back and pick up your items the following day (or the following Monday if your appointment is on a Saturday.) We can also ship items if you cannot pick up.

 CANDY BOWL EXPERIENCE

A candy bowl comes with up to two colors. All objects made in the hot shop are one of a kind and will vary in size and appearance.  The average size of a candy bowl is approximately 7”x7”x3” All students must be at least 10 years old. Once you have hand-crafted your glass, it will take up to 24 hours for you item to cool and be ready for pick up or shipping.

PAPERWEIGHT EXPERIENCES

Paperweights can be made with up to 3 colors and in your choice of style. All objects made in the hot shop are one of a kind and will vary in size and appearance.  The average size of a paperweight is approximately 4” in diameter. All students must be at least 15 years old. Once you have hand-crafted your glass, it will take up to 24 hours for your item to cool and be ready for pick up or shipping.

ADVANCED FLOWER CLASSES

An advanced flower comes with up to two colors and in you choice of tulip or daylily shape. All objects made in the hot shop are one of a kind and will vary in size and appearance. The average size of an advanced flower is approximately 15”x 4”-5” All students must be at least 15 years old. Once you have hand-crafted your glass, it will take up to 24 hours for you item to cool and be ready for pick up or shipping.

Memory Sphere

A memory sphere comes with up to 3 colors. All objects made in the hot shop are one of a kind and will vary in size and appearance. The average size of a memory sphere is approximately 4”-5” in diameter. All students must be at least 15 years old. Once you have hand-crafted your glass, it will take up to 24 hours for you item to cool and be ready for pick up or shipping.

Bird Feeder

A bird feeder comes with up to two colors. All objects made in the hot shop are one of a kind and will vary in size and appearance. The average size of a basic flower is approximately 10”x5”x5”. All students must be at least 15 years old to make the bird feeder. Once you have hand-crafted your glass, it will take up to 24 hours for you item to cool and be ready for pick up or shipping.

Small Platter

A small platter comes with up to 3 colors. All objects made in the hot shop are one of a kind and will vary in size and appearance. The average diameter of a small platter is from 10” to 12”. All students must be at least 15 years old to make the small platter. Once you have hand-crafted your glass, it will take up to 24 hours for you item to cool and be ready for pick up or shipping.

 VALENTINE’S ROSES

A Valentine’s rose comes with your choice of up to two colors. All objects made in the hot shop are one of a kind and will vary in size and appearance. The average size of a Valentine’s rose is approximately 15”x 1.5”-2” All students must be at least 15 years old. Once you have hand-crafted your glass, it will take up to 24 hours for you item to cool and be ready for pick up or shipping. Available January through February.
